Skirt for my Daughter

Mrs T needed something to augment her summer wardrobe, so we went shopping for fabric. It was a real sacrifice: browsing in a great quilting store, "Gossypium" in Issaquah, WA! (Love that store. Check out their website: gossypiumquilt.com)

She chose a Cotton and Steel piece in coral. I used a pattern that I have made before, Amy Butler's "Barcelona" skirt. The colors work now, and it will be perfect into the fall with boots.

I'm happy with the way the pattern matches up going down the front. It took a bit of figuring how to make that happen, and one mis-cut piece. It's all about the cutting.

When it's washed, the raw edges will show up a little more.

A happy customer!
