More Quilts

My favorite quilt of the year was a wedding gift for M and C. Their wedding was beautiful . . . At a seaplane air harbor with the bride arriving with her bridesmaids via air. Magical.

Miss E trying out the wedding quilt.

Bikes on the back for a biking couple.

I had been wanting to make an Ohio Star quilt, and even though the groom is from Iowa, Ohio Star it is. I found a wonderful example done in shades of yellow on Flicker that was my inspiration. Hooray for you generous quilters.

I hope it will be well used.

Quilts of 2014

A chemo quilt for my wonderful friend C.  As of now, she is in remission, so it worked its magic!
The hydrangeas were the perfect backdrop colors for this quilt.

Miss E adding love to the above quilt before we delivered it to C.
Miss E is an excellent dispenser
of hugs and love.

This is the beginning of something I have been promised myself that I would begin in 2014.  There is a day and a half left, so I have met my goal!  I love reading blogs about quilting, I receive so much inspiration from them, so I hope to return the generosity.

I hope my attempts will inspire you!!
